Delete your account & data
Serpent Drift does not require an account to play. If you sign in with Google Play Games, your account is identified by your Play Games player ID; if you play as a guest, only by a random ID stored on your device. Here is how to delete that account and all data associated with it.
Delete your leaderboard data and account (in-game)
Open the game and go to Settings → Game → “My leaderboard data”, then choose “Delete my data”. This works both when you are signed in and as a guest, and permanently removes the account and everything we store about you:
- your player profile and display name on our leaderboards
- all of your leaderboard entries (times, stars and split times) and your entries on the daily boards
- the stored run recordings used to verify your best times, with their timing and anti-cheat data
Your runs are removed from the public leaderboards immediately. This action is irreversible; if you want a copy, choose “Export my data” first.
Delete your community-level author data (website)
If you have ever signed in with Google on this website as a community-level author, you can export or delete that account right here: in the “My data” panel on this page, sign in with the same Google account and choose “Export my data” or “Delete my account & data”. Deletion permanently removes everything tied to your account:
- every community level you authored (and its leaderboard and ratings)
- any ratings you gave to other levels
- your sign-in identities, including the Google account identifier from website sign-in
- the in-game player profile and leaderboard runs of the same account, if it was linked to your game account while that (since removed) feature existed
This is account-complete and irreversible. Deleting in the game from “My leaderboard data” removes the same account from the other side.
Delete your cloud save
Your game progress and settings are stored as a Google Play “Saved Game” (Snapshot) tied to your Google account. You can delete it at any time from within Google Play Games (Play Games app → Settings → Delete Play Games account & data, or the saved-games management screen for this game).
Reset local progress
Progress and settings stored only on your device can be reset in the game under Settings → Game → “Reset progress”, or removed by uninstalling the app.
Data we retain
After deletion we keep no leaderboard or daily-board data tied to you in the live database. Our backup copies (at most 4, normally none older than 30 days) can still hold it until they are removed, and if one is ever restored, your deletion is applied again automatically before the server goes back online; for that we keep only a one-way fingerprint of your sign-in identity and the time of deletion. Web server access logs (IP address, time, requested address) are deleted after 10 days. If you wrote to us through the contact form, that message is deleted after 180 days, or sooner on request. Apart from an optional reply address in such a message, we store no email address or other contact details.
Crash reports (Google Firebase Crashlytics) are tagged with your Play Games player ID if you were signed in. Google deletes them automatically after 90 days; the deletion above does not remove them sooner.
My data
Export or permanently delete everything tied to your account: the levels you've authored, your ratings, your sign-in identity, and any linked in-game player and leaderboard runs.
Sign in with the Google account you used on this website to export or delete its data.
Can’t open the app?
If you can no longer open the game, write to us (by email, or through the contact form on this website) and we will delete your data for you. If you were signed in to Google Play Games, include your display name as shown on the leaderboard, or your Play Games player ID, so we can find the right account. Guest data is tied only to a random ID on your device, which the game does not show and without which we cannot find it: use the in-game deletion while you still have the app. Uninstalling the app removes the ID, after which any guest data on our server can no longer be connected to you.
